Current Exhibits - Honouring Black History and Celebrating Heart Health

Mississauga Sports Council (MSC) - thanks volunteers & CM their ongoing support!
In 1975, the first inductees were recognized as honoured members of the Sports Hall of Fame. Fast forward into the 21st century, and with support from the City (CM), Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) and community, the Sports Hall of Fame made its home at the Sports Complex. With funding from CM, OTF, MSC engaged our community and visitors through exhibits, like Volunteer & Black History Month, showcasing our Olympians and Paralympians, Honouring our War Veterans; and celebrations, like Seniors Month, Sports Day in Canada and more. As programs and services evolved, MSC hosted school days sharing our Hof stories with school students and getting them active in the gyms and sports fields.

Exhibits are updated to showcase the many Sports Hall of Famers who's exceptional achievements are an inspiration to visitors. You're welcome to join us at the Hall of Fame - concourse level - PFFC.
"We would like to thank the many volunteers, funders and staff who support the Sports Hall of Fame and celebration of such inspirational achievements." Jim Holmes, President, MSC
