COVID-19 update
As of March 13th, cases of COVID-19 in Canada total 197, with 79 in Ontario. Update - The City of Mississauga has been working with Peel Public Health in cooperation with the Public Health Agency of Canada, Ministry of Health, Public Health Ontario and other local health care providers to monitor the risk and take protective actions as needed. At a "Peel Region" media conference this afternoon, Mayor Crombie advised that The City of Mississauga would be closing all recreation, library, and cultural facilities, to the public, starting Saturday (Mar. 14) through to April 5th. This includes the Living Arts Centre, Meadowvale Theatre, Paramount Fine Foods Centre and the Mississauga Seniors’ Centre. Programming at these facilities will be cancelled.

As part of their continued efforts to reduce the spread of infection Trillium Health Partners have opened a COVID19 Assessment Centre at the Mississauga Hospital & Credit Valley Hospital. Contact Peel Public Health (905-799-7700) to be referred to the Assessment Centre. Hours of Operation 9:30am - 9:30pm. This is not a walk in clinic.
